On March 14, 2023, Q-Care Medical, in collaboration with Fujifilm, hosted the High Field Open MRI – Fujifilm Oasis Velocity event at the W Doha Hotel. The event gathered 30 healthcare professionals from Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), including radiologists, orthopedics, and biomedical engineers, to introduce Fujifilm’s Oasis Velocity MRI system, focusing on its advanced features and applications for HMC’s Bone and Joint Center.
Dr. Mohammed ElGamal, Business Unit Manager at Q-Care Medical, opened the event by emphasizing Q-Care’s dedication to bringing cutting-edge medical technologies to Qatar. Fujifilm's team, led by Atsushi Tateishi, General Manager of the Medical Systems Division, presented the unique features of the Oasis Velocity, highlighting its open design, ergonomic benefits, and advanced imaging capabilities, especially for orthopedic diagnostics. The system's ability to deliver high-field imaging while ensuring patient comfort was a key topic of discussion. Attendees explored how this innovative MRI technology could enhance patient care and support HMC’s imaging services. The event solidified Q-Care Medical’s role as a key distributor of leading medical imaging technologies in Qatar and fostered valuable discussions on improving healthcare delivery.
